The Gallery at YouNique Wellbeing - Exhibition Information, Terms and Conditions

Main Points:

  • Themes and key dates are shown in the Exhibition Timetable.

  • Artwork must be your own original work and be free from any copyright restrictions or intellectual property disputes.

  • Not all artwork submitted can be accepted – there is limited space.

  • To be considered, a digital submission is required first. Please email an accurate photo of the artwork (including any framing) and state the dimensions to clarekersley@yahoo.co.uk

  • If chosen, artwork must be delivered to YouNique Wellbeing Studios at the requested time (see timetable).

  • There is a hanging fee of £5 per piece exhibited. This is payable in cash when artwork is handed in.

  • Exhibited artwork will be shown for approximately 1 month or until sold (if the buyer requires the piece before the end of the exhibition).

  • The Gallery will take 20% commission on all sales.

  • Artwork should have D rings or the equivalent securely attached for hanging purposes.

  • The Gallery space is used for classes and workshops, including yoga and dance, so there may be times when the room becomes warm and humid. Artwork should be framed or mounted to prevent warping. Heavy frames cannot be accepted.

  • If artwork is exhibited but does not sell, it must be collected at the time stated (see timetable).

  • The Gallery does not have storage space so unfortunately artwork not collected at the times specified will have to be given away or disposed of.

  • Each piece of artwork must be accompanied by the signed Declaration along with the following information:

    Title of the work

    Description/explanation of the work

    Artist’s name

    Price

Artist’s contact details and/or a QR code/link to a website may also be included

  • A great deal of care will be taken when handling and displaying artwork. In the unlikely event of loss or damage neither the Gallery nor YouNique Wellbeing Studios will be held liable.

  • The Gallery and YouNique Wellbeing may use images of exhibition artwork for marketing purposes.
